世界市佔率最高的微軟的瀏覽器冒險家IE（Internet Exolorer）又有新版本推出了，這次推出的是IE8 0，繁體中文版也包含在內，從3月20日開始提供網友們下載。

這次的改版只花了不到2年半的時間，與上次從6.0升級到7.0間隔6年相較，整整快了三年以上，主要的目的就是為了迎戰FireFox、 Google Chrome、Apple Safari、Opera等瀏覽器，以挽救節節敗退的市佔率，雖然備受威脅，不過IE的全球市佔率仍然高達近8 成。
